Who am I?
I'm Vicky, owner IBC. Born in Cork and raised in Limerick, currently living in Dublin.
Why?
Out of curiosity in 2002.
Reason
Loneliness, no-one to chat to in Cantonese;
*thinking there must be more IBCs out there.

Research (i.e. internet)
Found many ABC and BBC sites,
but not one single IBC site. Ended up contacting
Dim Sum to see if they have a sister site.
And?
Nope, nada... but the nice editor at Dim Sum poked
me to create an IBC site.

Result!
Launched Irish Born Chinese in September 2002!
And have been going ever since. IBC's even been featured in magazines and newspapers.
