This will be here to collate information regarding assistance for Chinese people here in Ireland. (This will help my create a proper page with all this information)
Does anyone know where I can find a Karaoke with Cantonese songs in Dublin? I miss it really a lot. Maybe we can have a Karaoke night together?!?!??! Singing Karaoke is the best way to learn how to read Chinese!!!
Not sure. There was one in town somewhere. Don't know about the details. I know there is a karaoke bar in Exchequer Street, but I do not know if they do Chinese songs.
Might want to check out noticeboards in Asian Markets (i.e. The Asian Market on Drury St), or posters on restaurants around the city.
Of course, if anyone knows any further information, pls comment here.
Yeah there are lots, Just look for any of the resturants with the words KTV on them on parnell street, they are usually cheap enough too and they have loads of Canto songs,But it may be very hard for you if you cant read Chinese, But all you really need is one person who can. Please dont be afraid or embarassed to go to these places as the staff are usually friendly and the one in A Li Lang Korean resturant sometimes even has Irish people singing away in them.
Went to Taste of Chuan (I think that's what it's called), it's 123 Capel Street. It has Karaoke private rooms, songs are a bit outdates (English side), haven't checked the Chinese (Cantonese) songs as some of us can't read Chinese (the whole group was Chinese).
Can someone list some places that they recommend? Up-to-date English and Chinese songs (with private rooms if poss)?
