Coffe or Tea [Andy Lau]

Whether you think it is crap, or just following the trend, here is the place to talk about CantoPop, JPop etc... Talk about new releases, whatever you like really, but hold off the crude language (I'll be watching!)

I've heard two of his new songs (one is for the 'Tea' commercial, and the other he's driving a taxi). Rather good, I must say.
I look forward to listening to his new songs. Hopefully, it won't disappoint.

Andy Lau's Coffee or Tea is the best cantonese album released this year. You can take a lot of time was spent perfecting those songs. I knew it was good, but I didn't know it was this brilliant. Definitely exceeded my expectations, it's even better than his last album released in 2003 called "If One Day..."
The bonus VCD is nice too, the picture quality is as good as it gets since it's a VCD (Hopefully his next album will include a bonus DVD)

Just 3 months after his album's release, I still see his new songs on TVBS-Europe. His latest song is the theme song for his movie with Sammi Cheng.

Appearance of his songs on TV in chronological order.
1. 常言道 (Coffee or Tea: Track 1) [June?]
2. 按摩女郎 (Coffee or Tea: Track 2) [July?]
x. 幸福.這麼遠.那麼甜 (Coffee or Tea: Track 11) [September] - A mandarin song, therefore it only appears on mandarin programmes.
3. 無須擔心 (Coffee or Tea: Track 9) [October]
4. 如果我有事 (Coffee or Tea: Track 4) [October]

Love it, and the fact that it's HDCD (www.hdcd.com) means it's even better. The sound is richer and more dynamic, but it's unnoticable for most people unless you have a player that supports HDCD (New DVD Players usually support it). I've bought many albums this year, but Andy Lau's album is the one I listen to the most since the lyrics are very-well written (it discusses life in general).
