Asian Language Courses:
+ Now being run in co-operation with Aisling Languages.
+ Language taught by a native speaker.
+ 10 weeks, 15 hrs.
+ Fee: 200 Euro + cost of course book (20-25 Euro)
+ 3-8 people per class.
+ Location: 137 Lower Rathmines Road, Dublin 6.
+ Levels: Each course feeds into the next level, i.e. on finishing a
beginners’ course, you can continue smoothly onto a post-beginners’
course.
+ Mandarin Beginner: Thursday, 19:00 – 20:30, Started April 27
+ Mandarin Post Beginner: Monday/Wednesday, 19:00 – 20:30, Started April
3 or April 26
+ Mandarin Intermediate 2: Wednesday, 18:00 – 19:30, Started April 26
+ Japanese Beginner: Wednesday, 19:00 – 20:30, Started April 26
+ Japanese Post-Beginner 2: Thursday, 19:00 – 20:30, Started April 27
+ Japanese Advanced: Tuesday, 19:00 – 20:30, Started April 25

+ Chinese Embroidery: One-to-one classes taught by Deborah Wilson.
Deborah travelled to Suzhou in China to learn Chinese Embroidery from
the Master and now teaches those who would enjoy learning this new
skill. Deborah is planning to bring a group out to Suzhou to learn

Chester Beatty Library
+ Chinese Printmaking Today: Woodblock Printing inChina 1980-2000. May
30 – Sept 29 Summer exhibition at the Chester Beatty Library.
Celebrating contemporary printmaking, featuring works of art from the
Muban Foundation, London, which holds the finest collection of woodblock
prints outside China. There will be a number of events to mark the
exhibition.
